When to Use Urgent Care
Urgent Care practices focus on the treatment of diseases, illnesses, or injuries that are presented by otherwise healthy consumers. Urgent Care practices fill a void between basic care that can be provided at home, such as a minor cut or occasional headache, and care that requires a trip to the emergency room, such as a heart attack.
Different urgent care centers provide different levels of service. Well-Key urgent care centers provide comprehensive services. This includes anything that is offered by a nurse or physician’s assistant at a pharmacy based clinic, as well as many of the services offered by either primary care physicians or emergency rooms. Our combination of board certified physicians and attentive walk-in care is unique in the Sevier County area.
We are here from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, to care for acute injuries, common illnesses, or minor medical problems. We can also provide routine care when your personal physician is unavailable, bridging the gap between your primary care provider and the emergency room. We know your time is valuable, and we pride ourselves on efficient, courteous service. Most visits are one hour or less, door to door.
We offer the following on a walk-in basis:
- stitching lacerations
- X-ray services and splinting of fractures
- tetanus vaccinations
- flu shots
- lab services
- sports physicals
- medication dispensing
