J. Michael Rothwell, MD
Dr. Rothwell, a native South Carolinian and founding partner of Well-Key is a board certified general surgeon who attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC before completing his General Surgery training at Mercer University in Macon, GA. He was in private practice of general surgery for 24 years before devoting his full time to the operations of Well-Key. Dr. Rothwell resides in Knoxville and is an avid fly fisherman. He enjoys playing the keyboards with other local musicians and attending live music events.
Robin A. Huskey, mD
Medical Director/ Lab Director
Dr. Huskey grew up in Pigeon Forge, and as a founding partner of Well-Key serves as the Medical Director and Lab Director. She is a board certified Family Physician who attended UT Medical school in Memphis, TN and completed her Family Practice training at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She enjoyed a private practice of family medicine for eight years in Sevier county before devoting her full time to the operations of Well-Key. Dr. Huskey lives in Sevierville and enjoys traveling, photography, spending time with her family and attending church.
Amy widener, FNP-BC
Amy is from Knoxville, TN where she attended UT. She and her husband completed the Appalachian Trail after marrying last year as through-hikers with the trail names of “Honey” and “Moon”. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping and hiking with her husband.
Britteny Fultz, FNP-BC
Britteny, a native of Tazwell, TN, earned her BS in Nursing at ETSU in Johnson City, TN. She has nine years of Emergency room and ICU experience and is actively involved with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Britteny enjoys traveling with her fiance’ and playing with her French Bulldog, Butch.
Chelsea Hern, FNP-BC
Chelsea is a graduate of Carson Newman University where she earned her Nurse Practitioner degree. She has had a career in nursing for over eight years.
When she’s not working, Chelsea enjoys spending time in the outdoors, crafting and spending time with her family.
David Luck, MD
Dr. Luck, a native Tennessean who attended UT in Knoxville and completed medical school at ETSU in Johnson City. He went on to become board certified in Family Medicine after his family medicine training at In His Image family practice residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Additionally, Dr. Luck has completed an additional year of concentrated study in Sports Medicine at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He currently resides in Wears Valley where he enjoys time with his family hiking, playing and watching sports, traveling and studying God’s word.
Cedric Palmer, MD
Dr. Palmer is a native son of New Orleans, LA where he was born and raised. Completing his training at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, he is a board certified Family Physician who has served the communities in East Tennessee for the last 20 years. He currently lives in Knoxville where he enjoys his free time reading historical narratives and being with his wife and Siberian Huskies, Bronson and Cutty.
Hannah Brown, FNP-BC
Hannah, a native of Sevier county started her medical career as a candy striper at LeConte Medical Center, then Fort Sanders Sevier. After getting her nursing and nurse practitioner training at Carson-Newman University she has worked in many varied medical settings including as a trauma nurse and ER nurse at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Hannah has served the east Tennessee region as a board certified Family nurse Practitioner for over twelve years.
When she’s not taking care of patients she enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and going to concerts.
Kathy Besola, FNP-BC
A native of Gatlinburg, TN, Kathy grew up in Sevier county and later went on to complete her education in nursing and becoming board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Tennessee Wesleyan University and ETSU in Johnson City, TN. She currently lives in Knoxville, TN where she enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, dog “Mongo” and two cats, “Bam-Bam” and “Tank”.
Lauren Lowery, FNP-BC
Lauren completed her Nursing degree, Nurse Educator degree and Nurse Practitioner training with Carson-Newman University in Dandridge, TN. She enjoys working at Well-Key because of the wide variety of people she is able to interact with and help. In her free time Lauren enjoys making weekend road trips, spending time with her family, reading and singing in her church choir.
Melissa Wild, FNP-BC
Melissa Wild, originally from Virginia, earned her B.S. in Nursing at King College and went on to Tennessee Tech to become a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has served the East Tennessee region as a Nurse and Nurse Practitioner for more than a decade. Melissa currently lives in Knoxville, TN where she enjoys spending time with her husband, her German Shepard, “Sadie” and her Maltese, “Snickers”.
Nichole Reed, FNP-BC
Nichole is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Nursing degree at Tennessee Wesleyan University and later attended UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN where she graduated with her Nurse Practitioner Certification. A resident of Knoxville, TN, Nichole enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends and her two dogs, “Jax” and “Gus”.
